Companion Journeys handles all travel bookings and logistics to ensure the travel itinerary is seamless and easily changed, if needed, from the road. I put great emphasis on client requests for their desired airport, travel time frame as well as their comfort and safety. If travel includes relocating to a new community where professional staff is assisting, I’ll coordinate your arrival with them for a smooth transition to your new home.
No problem! If my client is located in another state (most are), then I travel to them and we begin the journey together from there. Usually, I will fly in the day before our planned trip and do a meet-and-greet with them and ensure they are ready to leave the next day. It’s truly a door-to-door service and as stress-free as possible for my clients.
Absolutely! I’ll help you navigate the shore and the ship and make sure you have a memorable time while enjoying all the sun, fun, food and festivities you can handle. All aboard!
No. It is against company policy to share hotel rooms or cruise cabins for the safety of both me and my client. An additional room or cabin must be purchased if travel warrants an overnight stay. Every effort will be made to ensure me and my client occupy either adjoining rooms or the nearest possible room available.
Each client is unique and every journey is different. When you and I initially connect, I’ll gather logistical information from you about your upcoming trip, any special event details as well as travel preferences to establish an estimate. Prices and fees vary depending on flight availability, level of care and the duration of your trip. Every effort is made to minimize ground time upon completion of your journey while assuring sufficient time is built in for delays and a successful ending to your trip. Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, Visa and Mastercard.
No. There are no medical-specific services offered through Companion Journeys. Clients may have minor disabilities (visible or hidden) or other mobility or cognitive challenges, but must be “flight-ready” meaning they can take care of their own personal care (i.e. use the restroom, brush their teeth, feed themselves, etc).
While most of my work is with individual clients, I happily provide travel assistance to couples, small groups and families. If you feel you could benefit from an extra hand while traveling, contact me to find out how I can be of service to you and your group.
Of course! Pets are a vital part of our lives. As long as the animal complies with airline pet policies, I will work with the appropriate airlines to obtain the proper documentation needed to transport your loyal companion. And, should you need a travel companion specifically for relocating a pet, I’m happy to provide door-to-door service, as needed, for them as well.
Yes, generally, travelers are able to cancel reservations made for Companion Journeys LLC services at any time subject to certain terms and conditions. Reservations made with vendors, even booked through Companion Journeys LLC, will be subject to the cancellation policies of such vendors.
Yes, Companion Journeys LLC has the proper amount of general, commercial and professional liability insurance coverage to sufficiently protect against the risks associated with its business operations.
